While we proudly display all our rates on our website, we do have a modest minimum requirement of $200 for delivery services.
However, we understand that every event is unique, which is why we offer the flexibility to combine various services such as balloon decor and backdrop rentals to meet this minimum threshold. This approach not only streamlines the planning process but also allows you to tailor your event experience according to your specific needs and preferences.
We offer delivery services to locations within a 10-mile radius of our headquarters in Greenville, NC, at no additional charge.
Should your event require delivery beyond the initial 10 miles, rest assured that our transparent pricing model means you'll only be charged a modest $2.50 per mile, allowing you to plan with confidence and clarity.
We offer professional set-up and take-down services for all installations. To cover the costs associated with this service, a nominal fee of 20% is added.
In our commitment to providing exceptional service, we kindly request a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your chosen event date. Securing your date ensures that it's reserved exclusively for you. Please note that your event date remains unsecured until this deposit is received.
As your event approaches, we kindly ask that the remaining balance be settled in full no later than 5 days prior to your event. This allows us to finalize all preparations, ensuring that your event unfolds flawlessly.

** Terms and Conditions apply to all Rentals and Services by Modern Rentals. Setup charges & payments include guaranteed prop and/or balloon items to be 100% perfect upon completion of setup. Once we leave, you are agreeing that you are satisfied with the installation.
Weather-
We cannot guarantee the balloons in an outside environment. Acts of nature such as sun, wind, rain, or snow can affect balloon quality and we cannot guarantee the stability of any balloon or backdrop installation outdoors. Balloons outside in the best environment will degrade immediately upon being placed outside (turning matte in appearance, unless you have paid for outshine shine). Modern Rentals shall not be held responsible for any type of unfavorable weather conditions, rain or high winds, electrical outages, hurricanes or other acts of God that service delivery, service or rental setup.
Rentals-
Customer agrees not to loan, sublet, or otherwise dispose of any backdrops or rental props. The rental equipment has been received in good condition and should be picked up in same condition. The customer is responsible for loss or damage of items and will pay cost of replacement or repair. This cost will be assessed within 5 days after incident and presented in a separate invoice payable within 15 days.
Customer agrees to pay in full the cost, including labor, for all damages to rental equipment.
Customer agrees to ensure that all users (and users’ guardians) of the rental equipment sign liability waivers.
For safety reasons, stakes & sandbags are used to support some rentals. Customer is responsible for selecting location, and any damage incurred to sprinklers, pipes, cable etc. will be customer’s responsibility.
Modern Rentals shall not be held responsible for any grass damage.
The Customer will inform Modern Rentals of any adornments (decorations, signs etc.) of any kind they wish to add on their own to any rental. This information may be added in the notes section of the quote request form or submitted in writing no less than 72 hrs. before the date of the event. Failure to do so will result in a $100 charge.
There is no warranty that rented items are free of defects.
Replacement Items -
While we regret that items sometimes will have defects and be unusable this sometimes happens in the balloon world. We cannot be held responsible or manufacturer items that fail during the processing of your order. In the event a piece of your order has defects, etc -we will replace the items (during the making of your order and if we are in process of delivery, the items will be replaced with an exact or similar item of equal or lesser value if not possible we will provide a refund only if no alternative or acceptable replacement is available.
Cancellations –
If customer cancels or postpones the rentals and or decor for any reason, the deposit or payment will not be refunded (on invoiced orders), however, a credit is issued which can be applied to any future event for up to one year.
We DO NOT CANCEL FOR WEATHER - unless there is a warning issued by the national weather service or local officials declaring states of emergency. We will reschedule for a later date of up to one
year for any Covid related illnesses.
Our policies are very lenient with regard to personal emergency and or issues arising. We have never had an issue where the client is not completely satisfied and make every effort to ensure 150% customer satisfaction.
• No Refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address or no address posted on the house .(We want to make sure the correct house gets the display.) Additional fee will be charged to move display to the correct address.
• No Refunds will be given due to any animals (ex: dogs loose in the yard) that prevent the display from being set up. Please do not try to send us somewhere you are banned from being or restricted from being in accordance with local laws.
You must notify us of any grievance or complaint within 48 hrs of delivery of balloons and/or props. Our email is modernrentals.nc@gmail.com
This contract and agreement shall be in accordance with and governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
The person(s) or organization acquiring services from Modern Rentals will be held responsible and liable for all damage or injury occurring for any reason whatsoever.
The Customer agrees to and shall indemnify and hold harmless and defend Modern Rentals, its employees and third-party contractors hired by Modern Rentals from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits and liability of every kind, including all expenses of litigation, court costs and attorney's fees, for injury to or death of any person, or damage to any kind of property, or for any breach of contract arising out of or in connection with this rental agreement and the purposes for which this rental agreement was entered into, including but not limited to property damage, injuries and death due to the act, omission, mistake, fault, default, or negligence of (1) Modern Rentals its employees and third-party contractors hired by Modern Rentals (2) the Client, its agents and employees; and (3) any invitees, licenses or guests of the Client.
In the event that the release and hold harmless as contained herein is held unenforceable for any reason, Customer herby agrees to a limit on any damages claimed by Customer to the total paid to Modern Rentals for the rental.
Customer agrees to reimburse Modern Rentals for all attorney fees, an amount not less than 100% of all sums due, court cost and expenses incurred by Modern Rentals to enforce collection or to preserve or enforce rights under this contract.
